Property transactions are already slow, and they get slower the moment they cross a border. Deposits sit between parties, currencies have to be converted at a rate somebody will later query, and the paperwork proving what was agreed lives in an inbox.
Owners, agents, tenants and investors each want a different view of the same transaction, and normally get it from four different systems that disagree.
